The Best Laid Plans . . .
Dr. Roberts informs me that it is now unlikely that he will be
able to attend the Monday afternoon session of the NWG meeting,
but that he will be able to attend the Tuesday evening session.
Accordingly, the topics of "Network Planning" and "other ARPA
Projects" are moved to Tuesday evening, and on Monday afternoon,
we will take up as many of the items originally scheduled for
Tuesday evening as we can.
The relevant reading for Wednesday evening is RFC #131, not #113.
In general attendees should read all of the RFC's since the last
NWG meeting.

§1The Schedule Swap
Crocker of UCLA reports that Dr. Roberts is unlikely to be able to attend the Monday afternoon session of the NWG meeting, but can attend the Tuesday evening session. The topics Network Planning and other ARPA Projects therefore move to Tuesday evening.
On Monday afternoon the group will take up as many of the items originally scheduled for Tuesday evening as it can.
Because the special guest can only come Tuesday evening, the topics he cares about move there, and Monday gets Tuesday's leftovers.
§2Reading Correction
The relevant reading for Wednesday evening is RFC 131, not RFC 113. In general, the note says attendees should read all of the RFCs issued since the last NWG meeting.
The RFC updates RFC 140.
There was a typo on the homework list, so it is fixed. Everyone should read the new notes before the meeting.
§3Why It Matters
This is a housekeeping note with no protocol content. It shows how the Network Working Group coordinated its in-person meetings in 1971 and used RFCs to announce changes.
It is a notice on the board saying the plan changed, nothing more.
