§1An Addendum to the Meeting Notes
R. Watson of SRI-ARC wrote this RFC on 25 March 1971 as an addendum to the NWG meeting notes (NIC 5762). It carries one item: the attendance list for the Urbana NWG meeting, 17 to 19 February 1971.
It is an extra page stapled to the meeting notes that says who showed up.
§2Who Attended
Names are grouped by site. The sites listed are BBN, Case, CCA, Harvard, ILLINOIS, IBM Research, LINCOLN LAB, MIT, MIT-MAC, MITRE, RADC, RAND, Raytheon, SDC, SRI, UCLA, UCSB and Utah.
Among the names are Robert Kahn, Ray Tomlinson and Alex McKenzie of BBN, Bob Metcalfe of Harvard, John Melvin and Dick Watson of SRI, and Steve Crocker and Jon Postel of UCLA. Illinois, the host site, has the longest list, with seven names. Raytheon appears, indented, under RAND with one name.
Each group of friends is listed under the name of the place they came from, like a class roster by school.
